We
at Cosy Cat Cattery pride ourselves on offering quality care for
your cat/cats in spacious well ventilated units. Your cats comfort
and wellbeing is our first consideration. Below are our details
and a list of our terms and considerations.
Terms
and Conditions for the Cosy Cat Cattery
Although it is a separate business from the pet store, staff are
pleased to help at any time during the stated hours of business:
10a.m to 12 noon and 2p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday, if cattery
staff are not available.
You may view accommodation from ground floor screen.
We
only specialise in cats as we believe that if your cat is not
used to dogs, it may cause stress.
We
spend a lot of time with your cat. Although we do not want to
take your place, we do want your cat to feel at home.
The
spacious indoor units are approximately 7' x 3' (21 sq feet),
with individual igloos, litter trays, dishes and a shelf so that
they may lie in the sun during the day if they wish. This enables
them to stay cool in summer
IN SUMMER A COOL AIR SYSTEM OPERATES
IN WINTER CENTRAL HEATING IS PROVIDE
All of the units are well over the regulatory
minimum size.
Your cat MUST be vaccinated against feline flu and feline enteritis.
We advise your cat is also vaccinated for feline leukaemia. The
insurance only covers this condition if your cat is vaccinated
against this. We will arrange insurance with Petplan Ltd. for
the duration of your cat's stay.
ONGOING PROBLEMS NOT COVERED.
Inspections are invited during normal business hours. We ask you
not to make an appointment so that you can see the cattery running
as it would be on any ordinary day. You may view accomodation
from a ground floor screen.
We operate a very high standard of hygiene.
We
ask that you transport your cat in a secure travelling box, marked
clearly with your name and address.
On
the day of arrival, to settle your cat in quickly and reduce stress
we require:
i) A favourite SMALL blanket- something with its own scent.
ii) Cats may get trapped in larger bedding so sorry no pillows
etc, toys
iii) Written details about your cat including diet, medication,
etc to enable us to know your cat as well as you do.
iv) Special veterinary diets will be charged as extra if not supplied by owner
The
cats are groomed as often as required by their coat type.
We
are not open to the public on Sundays or National Holidays.
Certificate
of vaccination must be seen and be up to date
Annual
boosters take 10 days for full cover. Initial vaccinations take
one month for full cover. Cats cannot be accepted within those
periods.
We
do not accepted un-neutered tom cats.
We
reserve the right to refuse any cat found to be unwell on arrival.
A
£10.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED WITH THE BOOKING
FORM
WE CHARGE FROM THE DATE BOOKED IN TO THE DATE BOOKED OUT INCLUSIVE.
THERE IS NO REFUND FOR CATS DELIVERED LATE OR COLLECTED EARLY
AS THE UNIT WILL HAVE BEEN RESERVED FOR YOUR CAT'S USE.
NO
REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATIONS WITHIN THE 14 DAY PERIOD
Christmas bookings must be paid in full by the 7th December
PAYMENT
IS DUE IN FULL FOURTEEN DAYS IN ADVANCE OF YOUR CAT'S STAY
*We accept cash or cheques only*
There will be an administration charge for returned unpaid cheques from your bank of £10.00
We
require you to fill out a booking form for each cat, this can
be sent to you by post or fax.

is a picture of our cattery unit accommodation

The
cattery is monitored 24 hours by a monitoring station from a computer
desktop. Duty staff are notified by a pager when not on premises
during late evening hours.
